Simon Farrow is an illustrator who graduated from Loughborough College of Art and Design. Simon works in the design and creative industry from his studio overlooking Leicester Market.
Two main influences in his personal practice are the children’s book illustrator Quentin Blake and the mid-century graphic artists (including Eric Ravilious, Edward Bawden, Robert Stewart and John Piper). Simon is enthralled by the way Blake captures people, the style of their clothing and facial expressions. Drawing with great humour and wit — characteristics Simon tries to capture in his own work.
Simon lives in West End, Leicester, with his partner, Jo, and young children Molly and Hannah.
