Graciela Rodo Boulanger

Born in La Paz in 1935, Graciela Rodo Boulanger studied music and painting and drawing before choosing a career in visual arts.

This is a collection of vintage reproduction prints which were published by Touchstone in the USA around the 1980s.  Using a palette derived from her native Bolivia, she creates strong rhythms with a deft contrast of pattern and colour.   Capturing the joys of childhood, her work is typically pervaded by candour and innocence.  Her deliberately simplified rendering of human and animal form is influenced by pre-Colombian and other 'primitive' art.

NOTE the prints are available framed if collecting from the gallery but we regret we are unable to ship framed prints outside of Leicestershire.  The prints are in good condition, having never been mounted or framed previously, and can be shipped worldwide rolled in a tube.
